Your starting point for information about moving to Colorado

A great place to start an exploration of the Denver area is the Denver Zoo. It takes hours to go through, and in the event that you still have some time left in your day once you're through, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science (see below) is right next door. You'll never run out of things to do. Tiger photo courtesy of Brenda Poudrier.
Denver Museum of Nature & Science
The natural history museum, boasting an IMAX theater which gives you a few movies to choose from, the last time I was there. The permanent exhibits are listed in detail, as well as temporary ones. They sell IMAX tickets online, but if the museum is open, you can phone the museum directly and save yourself the few extra dollars in markup that you'd pay online. Right next to the Denver Zoo.
WaterWorld
Beat the heat! Located in Federal Heights, the WaterWorld water park has over 40 attractions, and sits on 64 acres.
Zap2it.com
Looking for a movie? This site lists movies in and around Denver. Pick a zip code and the distance you're willing to travel from it, and off you go. There's movie news and info, plus you can also create a custom theater list for yourself.
Dave & Buster's
Billiards, shuffle board, food and drink, virtual reality, and a state of the art arcade that will wow both you and your kids. There's a state of the art full-swing golf simulator that puts you on some of the world's most exotic golf courses. There's a D&B in Denver on Colorado Boulevard just off I-25, and a brand new one in Westminster, just off Route 36. There are slightly different things available at each D&B, so you may want to check out their site for availability.
Bulder Theater (formerly Boulder Planet)
The web site for the historic Boulder Theater. They have concerts which collectively encompass all genres of music, and show movies (and "films"). You can buy tickets online here, visit the calendar of events, and even rent the theater. You can also sign up for an emailed newsletter, which will contain tips, ticket info, and news.
Vail.net (formerly Colorado.net)
To help you plan a Colorado vacation. Information about events in the Vail region: including hotels, restaurants, ski shops, transportation companies, real estate agencies, etc. Links to sites for Dillon, Frisco, Silverthorne, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, and Vail/Beaver Creek.
Denver HO Model Railroad Club
For the train buff. Housed in the basement of the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden. We should probably get around to listing them to, eh?
