Your starting point for information about moving to Colorado

Want to do it yourself? U-Haul has trucks and trailers, hitches, and boxes. Their site has moving tips, a U-Haul location finder, rates, reservations, and a "college connection" message board for college students looking to share a truck, whether you're moving to Colorado or to somewhere else. The links below will help you get started planning your move to Colorado.
PetsWelcome.com
This site was invaluable to me during my move. It lists hotels, ski resorts, campgrounds (and more) that are pet friendly. Some charge a small fee, but I never had a problem at any of the places I stayed.
Kristal Sells Denver
In my opinion, the BEST starting point for privately supplied demographic information by town in the Denver area. The site lists school districts for each town, gives you some history, lists utility companies serving the town, population stats, etc. It even includes the sales tax. In case you're not familiar with Colorado, sales taxes are set by each town.
American Moving and Storage Association
Information on how to choose a mover, a consumer handbook, children and pet issues, evaluating costs, and more. Select the state and town that you're moving from, and they provide you with a list of movers.
North American Van Lines
Household relocations, logistics, help finding an agent, and shipment tracking.
Bekins
Household moves, corporate relocations, help finding an agent, and international moves.
Mayflower
Household, corporate, military, and international moves. They also do trade shows.
United Van Lines
Household moves, relocation services, help finding an agent, and shipment tracking. Logistics, trade shows, special commodities, and high value shipments.
